I am Rodney Sanders, Vice President of Dialysis Visionary
Works and a dedicated advocate for renal health and quality
care. My mission is to educate my community through outreach
efforts involving medical teams and organizations and
disseminating accurate information about renal failure and
management.
My journey towards this mission began
when I was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2014, and needed
dialysis treatment. My story took a hopeful turn on March
31, 2018, when I received the life changing call that a
kidney was available. Despite the distance, I traveled over
200 miles and underwent a successful kidney transplant on
April 1, 2018, in the early morning hours.
Grateful
for a second chance at life, I am determined to utilize my
experience to support and empower others facing similar
challenges. Through Dialysis Visionary Works, I strive to
make a positive impact by offering guidance, support, and
insight to individuals navigating the complexities of renal
health.
